What you should know to
protect your family from Radon.

Radon is an invisible, radioactive gas created from natural deposits of uranium and radium in the soil. Radon is easily drawn into homes through cracks and gaps in the foundation and can reach concentrations that increase the potential for developing lung cancer. The good news is, any home can be properly mitigated in order to avoid long term radon effects.

About 50% of homes in
Colorado have high radon levels.

Data collected by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment indicates that approximately 50% of homes in Colorado have radon levels higher than the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-recommended action level of 4 picocuries per liter of air (pCi.L).

We are a certified National Radon Proficiency Program contractor with experience testing and mitigating homes for radon using the most up to date equipment and analysis. Certified Radon Mitigation has been trained in the proper placement of radon measurement devices and are adept at interpreting the results. More information of certified radon contractors can be found at www.coloradoradon.info.

Schedule a time for us to assess your home and place a radon testing device in order to produce a short term result of the radon level in your home. Once this test is conducted, we hold a short in person or over the phone consultation to determine if your home requires mitigation. If mitigation is necessary, we at Certified Radon Mitigation will guarantee an end result of 4 pCi.L or lower. Our job is to keep your family safe.

Let's get started!

Our certified technitions will help you each step of the way.

Test Your Home

Testing your home and knowing your radon levels are the first step to safety. Schedule a testing with us and our technicians will place a device in your home over the course of a few days in order to determine a short-term result. The device is normally place in a low traffic area of the lower level where it will not interfere with day to day family life.

Assess The Results

If the short-term result is LESS than 4 pCi/L, the EPA does not recommend any immediate action, however, if the short-term results is OVER 4 pCi/L, mitigation needs to be seriously considered. Not to worry, all homes can be fixed! The next step is to schedule a mitigation consultation with one of our technicians.

Mitigate If Needed

We help to make radon mitigation easy and inexpensive. Once an in home consultation has been made, Certified Radon Mitigation will install a custom home system according to the Radon Mitigation Standards and local building codes. Our radon mitigation systems are designed and installed based on the construction of your home.
